MOUNT AIRY CASINO RESORT UNVEILS EXPANDED MEETING SPACE
Mount Airy Casino Resort revealed its recent expansion with a ribbon cutting on May 2. The expansion included several additions and renovations to the resort’s event space.
Before the expansion, Mount Airy Casino Resort lacked space to accommodate large scale meetings and conventions, but now it has a full-service four-star diamond resort that can accommodate 750 guests seated or 1,200 standing.
“From our superbly crafted and meticulously maintained award-winning golf course, which was designed by renowned architect Hal Purdy, to our spa, gaming and dining options which were recently featured in Forbes, we believe that we are among the top premiere destination resorts on the East Coast for meetings and conventions, says resort owner Lisa DeNaples.
As one of the country’s only family-owned casino resorts, Mount Airy Casino Resort staff take pride in delivering the best possible experience for all guests, DeNaples says. “We took advantage of the opportunity to add more sophisticated rooms and executive suites. Lastly, adding a top-scale convention and meeting space created broader utility for our destination development,” she adds.
Since the expansion, Mount Airy Casino Resort has been available for tours with meeting and convention planners, and DeNaples says they have expressed excitement over the new state-of-the-art amenities.
