Spa Policies
Arrival Time
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Any late arrivals will be given the remainder of time allotted for each individual service. Please know that the hotel is not responsible for booking or canceling spa reservations. Please contact the spa directly at 570-243-5230. We are not responsible for traffic, weather conditions, mistakes in directions, closed roads, detours, etc.
Use of Locker Room Facilities
Our Men’s and Women’s quiet rooms, showers, steam rooms and saunas are available to Spa guests only.
Courtesy
We ask that all cell phones and laptops are turned off upon entry to the Spa to ensure tranquility and respect to all our guests.
Age Requirements
Guests receiving massage or body treatments must be at least 18 years of age. Please note that Mount Airy Casino Resort is a 21 and older facility. Any guest under the age of 21 will be permitted in the spa area only.
Group Bookings
Groups with 4 or more guests must be booked by the Spa Manager. A 50% deposit will be required upon booking and the remaining balance will be charged 72 hours prior to the date. A 72 hour cancellation policy applies to group bookings. Please email Frank Stracey and provide your name, phone number, email address, the date requested, the number of guests and the services requested. We highly recommend emailing at least 1-2 months prior to the date requested. You will be contacted as soon as possible.
Reservations
Reservations are subject to availability. To make a reservation call 570-243-5230. All reservations require a major credit card to hold an appointment. In the event that a reservation is made within the twenty-four (24) hour cancellation policy period, full payment of scheduled services will be processed at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
A twenty-four (24) hour cancellation notice is required for individual services, seventy-two (72) hours for group bookings and forty-eight (48) hours for our Relax package. To avoid the full charge of services, please call within the required cancellation period. Please note that emails are not accepted for cancellations or appointment changes.
Rebooking Fee
If you are rebooking a service after the 24 hour cancellation policy, a $30 fee per person will be charged. Must be rebooked within 24 hours of the original scheduled time.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the spa area.
Therapists
We have both male and female therapists on staff. Should you have a specific preference, please advise us when you make your reservation otherwise our therapist will be based on our scheduling availability. If service is refused, no refunds will be given.
Spa Attire
You will be provided with a robe and slippers for your comfort during your spa services. If you require a larger robe or slippers, please inquire at the front desk before beginning your service. Special attention to draping is practiced during all treatments for your comfort and privacy. If you require a razor, comb, or shower cap, please ask at check-in.
Valuables
Please do not bring jewelry or other valuables to the Spa. The Spa at Mount Airy does not assume any liability for personal items left in the rooms, lockers or robes.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates can be purchased directly from the Spa or you may create your own on our website. Gift certificates are not-refundable, non-transferable and have a 5-year expiration from date of purchase. Please know that after 1 year, all gift certificates will be considered a dollar amount at the purchase price.
