EN VOGUE AND SHEENA EASTON AT MOUNT AIRY CASINO RESORT Legendary female music icons set to headline in August 

MOUNT POCONO, PA – Mount Airy Casino Resort, Pennsylvania’s first AAA Four-Diamond Casino Resort, is excited to announce two major headline acts have been added to its summer entertainment lineup.

Legendary R&B Group En Vogue will perform live in concert Saturday, Aug. 5, followed by Grammy award-winning recording artist Sheena Easton on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the casino and resort’s event center.

Formed in 1989, En Vogue burst onto the music scene with their debut album, “Born to Sing.” The first hit single, “Hold On,” reached No. 1 on the dance and R&B/Hip-Hop charts. Since then, the group has sold more than 20 million albums which include Top Ten singles “Free Your Mind,” “Never Gonna Get It,” “Giving Him Something He Can Feel,” “Don’t Let Go,” and “Whatta Man.” Tickets for En Vogue start at $55.

Sheena Easton, whose career spans four decades, has sold over 20 million records worldwide. She received two Grammys and was the first and only artist to have Top-Five records on five major Billboard charts. Her hit single, “For Your Eyes Only,” was also nominated for an Academy Award for best original song. An accomplished TV and movie star, she also starred in Broadway theater hits, “Man of La Mancha” and “Grease.”

The celebrated singer/songwriter will perform her most memorable hit songs including “Morning Train,” “Strut,” “You’ve Got the Look,” and more. Tickets for Sheena Easton start at $35.

DiBitetto, aka the Italian Hurricane, is known for his “blue-collar comedy in a red sauce” and he’s often described as a cross between Rodney Dangerfield and Ralph Kramden. A social media savant, DiBitetto has earned over 500 million YouTube views for his now-famous Bread and Milk routine.

Dave Attell

A stand-up comedian, actor and writer, Attell is best known as the host of Comedy Central’s Insomniac with Dave Attell, which gave him a cult following. He can now be seen in the Hulu series Life & Beth alongside Amy Schumer, Michael Rapaport and Michael Cera.

The Amish Outlaws

Straight Outta Lancaster, The Amish Outlaws don’t offer a typical show. Ever. You can, however, expect to see six men in full Amish garb releasing all of their pent-up energy with an infectious joy. With sets that are always evolving as the brothers discover more and more music and culture, The Amish Outlaws constantly surprise the audience and keep folks guessing as to what they could possibly play next.

John Waite

Former lead singer of The Babys, Waite topped the charts in the late 1970s with tracks like Isn’t It Time and Every Time I Think of You. As a solo artist, he’s best known for his worldwide smash hit and ‘80s arena rock anthem Missing You. In the early ‘90s, he fronted Bad English, where his unmistakable vocals propelled the hit single When I see You Smile straight to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
