Mount Airy Casino Resort continues to take great pride in the safety and wellness of our employees and guests. Executive Director of Security Lianne Asbury has been identified as the Safety Pandemic Officer for the Mount Airy Casino Resort Property. This entails and outlines that Director Asbury will adhere to the CDC and/or PA DOH requirements; in order to promote mitigating efforts in the spread of COVID-19 and variants. With that, all our employees and guests should feel safe and comfortable reporting any information to the Pandemic Safety Officer; as well as the counterparts that work directly with the individual, Security Management team, during times when the Pandemic Safety Officer is not on property. All information provided will be directly communicated to the Pandemic Safety Officer as reported.

REPORTING COVID-19

  1. Any employee/Guest that may have tested positive for or been exposed to the COVID-19 virus should NOT report to work; however should contact Pandemic Safety officer direct, 570-243-4840 or otherwise Security Dispatch 570-243-5300 direct to Security Management Team. Pandemic Safety Officer/Security Management Team will direct the employee under CDC/PA DOH/and Local Health Dept. (Monroe County) to do the following:

If You Test Positive for COVID-19 (Isolate)

Everyone, regardless of vaccination status

  • Stay home for 5 days.
  • If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, the Pandemic Safety Officer may return you to work.
  • Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
  • If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.

 

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)

If you have been boosted or completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine within the last 6 months or completed the primary series of J&J vaccine within the last 2 months

  • Wear a mask around others for 10 days, no quarantine.
  • Test on day 5, if required by the Pandemic Safety Officer.
  • If you develop symptoms, get tested and stay home.

If You Were Exposed to Someone with COVID-19 (Quarantine)

If you completed the primary series of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine over 6 months ago and are NOT boosted or

completed the primary series of J&J over 2 months ago and are NOT boosted or are unvaccinated

  • Stay home for 5 days, end quarantine. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
  • If you can’t quarantine you must wear a mask for 10 days.
  • Test on day 5, if required by the Pandemic Safety Officer.
  • If you develop symptoms, get tested and stay home.

Pandemic Safety Officer Responsibility

  1. Pandemic Safety officer will make all required notifications to the Pennsylvania Department of Health (Monroe County); if confirmed case of COVID-19 identified on property. Pandemic Safety Officer will also make notification to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on-site Supervisor; as well as the Director of Surveillance.
  2. Director of Surveillance will be advised; in an effort to start contact tracing and ensure that areas of contact are isolated and contained for deep clean.
  3. Pandemic Safety Officer will be notified of any individuals identified that were in contact with the COVID-19 case; in order to ensure that quarantine and self-monitoring efforts are made.
