MOUNT POCONO, PA – Mount Airy Casino Resort, one of the largest private employers in Monroe County, honored those employees who went above and beyond in 2024 at the casino resort’s annual Team Member of the Year recognition ceremony. More than 50 employees and their guests attended the cocktail hour and sit-down dinner held at the Mount Airy Event Center on March 27.

The red carpet event celebrated 24 Mount Airy employees who were nominated Team Member of the Month by department leadership and fellow co-workers for their outstanding contributions to the continued success of the Four Diamond casino and resort. Out of the 24 in the running, two employees were awarded Team Member of the Year accolades: Randy Haggerty, a table games instructor from East Stroudsburg who was hired in June of 2010; and Roseann Sorrentino, a cage cashier from Cresco who has been with Mount Airy since September of 2008.

Mount Airy General Manager and Chief Operating Officer Todd Greenberg praised the hard work and commitment of the nominated staff members, and their essential roles at the award-winning casino resort.
