Mount Airy Casino Resort Announces Summer Concert Series
The casino resort to become the Poconos hot spot July through August
Mount Pocono, Pa. (June 3, 2022) – Mount Airy Casino Resort, Pennsylvania’s first AAA Four Diamond-rated casino, has announced its summer concert series. The lineup will feature rock classic Little River Band, Grammy Award-winning New Jersey-based Kool & The Gang and rock band Daughtry, formed and fronted by Chris Daughtry. The Summer Concert Series will take place on the Outdoor Summer Stage starting in July 2022 through September 2022.
Additional details on the experiences Mount Airy Casino Resort is hosting are outlined below:
- Little River Band – Saturday, July 2 at 8 p.m.: Dubbed by Eagles founding member Glenn Frey as “the best singing band in the world,” rock band Little River Band is known for major Billboard hits in the ‘70s and ‘80s such as “Reminiscing” and “Help Is on Its Way.”
- Daughtry – Saturday, August 27 at 7 p.m.: Founded and fronted by Chris Daughtry, this rock band found chart-topping success with hits such as “It’s Not Over” and “Over You.”
- Kool & The Gang – Saturday, September 3 at 7 PM: Thanks to iconic songs from Celebration to Cherish, Kool & The Gang have earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top Ten R&B hits, 9 Top Ten Pop hits, and 31 gold and platinum albums. The renowned New Jersey-based band will be bringing R&B, soul, funk, and disco to Mount Pocono later this summer.
