Celebrating the music of Billy Joel
Mike DelGuidice, one of Long Island’s most celebrated performers. After 18 years of playing Billy Joel’s music in his band Big Shot, Mike DelGuidice now lives a dream come true. In October of 2013, Billy Joel heard Mike sing, and personally hired Mike to join his band. Mike’s encyclopedic knowledge of the Billy Joel catalog made him a perfect fit as background vocalist and guitarist for BILLY JOEL. And now you can see Mike on tour with Billy Joel all over the US & world in major arenas and stadiums including every month at the iconic Madison Square Garden.
Multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and producer Tommy Byrnes has been Billy Joel’s guitarist and musical director for the past 29 years. He was key in helping Billy and Twyla Tharp create the Tony Award-winning Broadway smash Movin’ Out and served as the show’s Musical Director during its long run. Tommy has toured and collaborated with rockabilly legend Brian Setzer (co-writing Setzer’s hard-hitting “Barbwire Fence”). His further credits include artists as diverse as Enrique Inglesias, Joan Jett, Hall & Oats, and as a songwriter he’s penned tunes for Mandy Moore and others.
John Scarpulla has been on the cutting edge of the New York music industry since his graduation Magna Cum Laude from Berklee School of Music where he studied saxophone. John was the featured and lead Saxophonist with the Tony Award Winning (Best Music/Best Choreography) Billy Joel/Twyla Tharp collaboration entitled “Movin’ Out” at the Richard Roger’s Theater on Broadway. On the show, he played the lead Tenor Sax chair as well as Soprano and Baritone Saxes and Percussion.

Burgi has played and toured with Al Di Meola, Hall and Oates, Joe Lynn Turner, Rainbow, Blue Öyster Cult, Meat Loaf, Fandango and Enrique Iglesias and has recorded with numerous other artists, including Michael Bolton, Glen Burtnik, Bon Joviand and Diana Ross.

Joining Big Shot in early 2004, Nick was the quintessential addition to Big Shots rhythm section , with the deep and prominent tone that is reminiscent of the late great Billy Joel bassist Doug Stegmeyer. Nick joined Big Shot after a long and hugely successful run with the band Nine Days. Which boasted The number one single, “Absolutely,'(This is the story of a girl). Nicks solid bass playing and quiet and humble spirit has made him one of the most likable and solid commodities that Big Shot boasts. Nick is widely known and respected as one of long islands best and talented players, and has molded solidly to drummer Chuck Burgi, creating one of the most solid rhythm sections you will find. Big Shot is fortunate to have such a great person and bass player.
Mike has recorded and toured with the legendary Ritchie Blackmore and with the gold-record-selling classic rock band Zebra. He has performed for a number of years with New York rock band Kid Gloves (appearing with such major bands as Bad Company, E.L.O., Zebra, and Keanu Reeves).
Ken Cino – from Suffolk County, Long Island. Ken’s home was always full of music. Ken’s first love was of course, The Beatles.
The first time Ken heard Billy Joel was when his mother purchased him “The Stranger” album as a Christmas present. He never imagined he would eventually be in a band (Big Shot) performing Billy Joel’s music with current legendary members of Billy Joel’s band.
